Jessie Kate was founded at the beginning of 2022 with the vision of creating long lasting and sustainable wardrobe staples that add versitiliy to ones wardrobe. This is why at Jessie Kate we strive to use only natural fibres as the impacts on the environment are largely reduced due to the garments, once discarded, breaking down in a much shorter time frame compared to synthetics - some of which do not break down at all.
This is our way of generating awareness around the negative impacts of fast fashion and synthetic fibres in the fashion industry.

THE DESIGNER
Jessie, the designer and creater of Jessie Kate grew up on a stud sheep farm in the South Island of NZ. From a young age she was immersed in farm life and continues to help on the farm. Jess is hugely passionate about using natural fibres like wool as she has seen first hand the amazing qualities and benefits it provides. This is where the large appreciation for the environment and sustainability stems from.
